Year 4 Sleepover

Class: Bentley - Hedgehogs Year: 2022 - 2023

What a day... where did the sunshine go?

Well it didn't stop the Year 4 Sleepover!!

The children had a fantastic time with a special visitor who trained some new recruits in survival skills; den building, fire lighting, cooking outdoors. Thank you to Billy for sharing his expertise.

Following outdoor fun we were all very hungry and so picnic tea in the hall gave us time to dry off a little.

It wasn't long before we toasted marshmallows and engaged in our traditional waterfight... wet once again...especially Mrs Shand who seemed to be the target for some reason!

Once changed into dry sleepwear we settled down for a film night in the school hall.

All asleep by 11pm, which is not too bad...but awake for 5.30am!

Breakfast and games outdoors concluded our special event.

Thank you children for growing your confidence whilst away from home, being very responsible by washing up and packing your bags, and for being extremely well behaved. A successful sleepover for all.

A big thank you to Mr Drew, Miss Cross, Mrs Jordan, Mrs Shand (and Tilly) and Mrs North for making this all possible; what a team!

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
