Staff and Governors share a vision for all children within our schools… to become confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens. It is at the heart of everything we do, from the moment a child joins our school and we encourage them to carry this with them as they continue to grow beyond their primary years.
We develop confidence by providing rich and varied learning experiences, which encourage children to identify possibilities and overcome challenges, becoming independent and responsible members of their community.
We foster success by providing high quality teaching, challenging learning experiences and high expectations, which will ensure all pupils recognise and achieve success.
We encourage responsibility by enabling positive contributions, which will be shared through the promotion of mutual respect, self- awareness, empathy and the development of effective relationships within a safe and supportive environment.
As Bentley is a Church School, our Christian Vision also recognises that God is with us on this journey, as we become well equipped for future life. ‘Know that I am with you always’ Matthew 28:20.
Through our School Partnership, we aim to develop and enhance our collective provision by:
Identifying the strength and characteristics of our schools, sharing and developing good practice from which we may all learn and looking to support further developments and opportunities for those within our school communities.
Exploring how to maintain and develop the ethos within our schools, ensuring the focus is based on the spiritual and personal wellbeing of the pupils and all those who contribute to the learning that takes place.
Identifying areas of the curriculum that could be enhanced through joint curriculum work.
Identifying opportunities to exchange and share good work practices to ensure high quality learning opportunities for the children.
Building on existing provisions within each school whilst developing the partnership between schools, for the educational future of the pupils and their families, the professional development of staff and to ensure inclusion and commitment of the local community.
Working together to support and share issues and circumstances enabling staff at all levels to develop and apply their professional skills and expertise.
