Vacancy for an experienced Teaching Assistant from September 2022.

Teaching and Learning Assistant 

Grade 3 (pt 4-6) £18,933 – £19,698 pro rata 

 27.5 hrs p/wk (38 wks), fixed term, initially until August 2023 

Our small, friendly and dedicated team are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced teaching assistant to complement our staff team. The position is predominantly in KS2, supporting learning?within class as well as delivering a wide range of interventions as required. Although initially the post is offered fixed term until August 2023, there is a possibility of this contract becoming permanent.  

The ideal candidate will: 

  • promote a caring and supportive environment in which children can flourish and succeed 
  • have high expectations alongside a positive, nurturing approach 
  • have practical, school-based experience of planning and delivering tasks to support children with a range of needs 
  • be organised and reflective in developing practice 
  • demonstrate effective team working skills
  • have a good standard of English and Maths
  • be committed to embedding our school vision for all children and adults, ‘to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens’ 

We are keen to consider applicants with an interest and experience in planning and delivering whole class lessons with support. This would be paid at a higher Grade 4 rate as applicable for the right candidate.
