Copdock Weekly Update 13/01/2023

We are having a very quiet start to the term with very little in the diary. This gives us an opportunity to give you a heads up on things to come over the rest of this term and beyond. Dates are also on the website calendar and reminders will be sent nearer the time, with further details via the newsletter. Here's a broad summary of what's to come:

6-10^th Feb - Children's Mental Health week

10^th Feb - Dress to Express day

13-17^th Feb - Half Term

24^th Feb - Family Shared Learning

27^th Feb - Yr 5 Art Workshops

2^nd Mar - World Book Day

14^th Mar - Foxes Dodgeball Tournament

17^th Mar - Red Nose Day

29^th Mar - 5-7pm Parent Consultations

30^th Mar - 3.30-5.30pm Parents Consultations

30^th Mar - 2:45pm Easter service

31^st Mar - Federation STEM Exhibition at Copdock Village Hall. Theme will be a STEM focus, predominantly Science and engineering. We will also be holding our enterprise events to raise finds for the development of our outdoor spaces. Parents will be invited to attend during the afternoon so watch this space!

Summer Term

2-3^rd May - Yr5 Bikeability

4^th May - During the morning, we will be holding a Coronation event in school to celebrate the formal crowning of King Charles III. Parents will be invited to join us for the opening of this ceremony as they arrive into school. More info to follow.

8^th May - Bank Holiday

9-12^th May - SATs Week

29^th May-2nd Jun - Half Term

5^th Jun - PD Day

9^thJun - Family Shared Learning

13^th Jun - Class Photos

21^st Jul - Last Day of Term

Lego Club

Each week at Lego Club, there is a theme and one of the builds is sent through to the national website where there is a competition.
