Copdock Weekly Update 05/05/2023
Bikeability
Our year 5s spent 2 days with the Bikeability team, firstly they completed their Level 1 on the playground and then progressed to Level 2 - out on the roads.
Coronation Event
A big thank you to everyone who attended our Coronation event on Thursday. The red, white and blue was very impressive. Well done also to our Kings & Queens who did a marvellous job, as did our Bishop for the day.
Ofsted Visit
Rowena and Steve have asked us to pass on their thanks to the children for their exemplary behaviour and high levels of engagement in learning. They were very impressed with how well children remembered their previous learning and the responsibilities they took on within school. They both enjoyed chatting with the children because they were so polite and confident in sharing their views. Well done everyone. We look forward to sharing the report with you once it is published which will hopefully be in the next few weeks.
Uniform Order
This term's uniform order is available from today. If there is any uniform you would like to order please complete the order form (also attached) and return it to school by Friday12th May. Payment can be made in cash (in a named envelope please), by cheque (made payable to 'Copdock Primary School') or via the website. Orders will not be placed until payment has been received. Regardless of how you pay, you MUST send in an order form. Please note there has been a slight increase in some of the prices to reflect those made by the manufacturer.
SATS
Year 6 children will be sitting their SATs next week. ALL Foxes should be in school at 8:30am. It is really important that punctuality and attendance are spot on next week please. Please ensure they have had a good breakfast at home and bring a water bottle with them.
WCET Star Ensemble
Please see the invite attached for Foxes children to join a larger group of musicians for 7 weeks culminating in a performance.
PTA
Our next PTA meeting is being held straight after school next Friday. Hopefully this time will make it more accessible for those who are unable to make it in the evenings. The main topic of discussion is likely to be the Community Summer Fayre so why not pop along and see how you can get involved.
