Lunchtime Club
As part of our nurture activities we offer at lunchtime, the children would like to run a comic club. We will be subscribing to comics that the children have asked for. However, to get us started, if you have any appropriate comics you would like to donate, it would be very much appreciated.
Half term value
Sports day and School Photos - Tuesday 21st June
On Tuesday 21st June Bentley have their sports morning and also school photos in the afternoon. Drop off will be at normal time of 8.45am at the school field please. Please can your child come to school dressed in their designated colour t-shirt and their PE shorts and trainers. They will also need a water bottle, a sun hat and sun cream, or raincoat if appropriate.
Following our sporting events, we will remain at the field for a picnic lunch from 11.45am. Parents are welcome to stay for a picnic with their child on the field. Children can order a grab & go lunch from our caterers (deadline is today), or bring their own packed lunch with them.
Children will then return to school where they will change in to their unform for photos. Please send their uniform with them, or bring to the field if you are coming along to watch.
Practice sports Day - Thursday 16th June
We will be doing a practice sports day on Thursday 16th June to allow the children to practice their events as they have not had a sports day for so long. Please drop your child off at the school field in their PE kit and trainers,
They will also need a water bottle, a sun hat and sun cream, or raincoat if appropriate.
We will return to school for normal lunch, please can they just bring any packed lunch that day, no other bags will be needed.
Sports Tokens
Don't forget to keep collecting the sports tokens and send them in with your child to the office
Teddy Bear Picnic
We were delighted to welcome our new children in to school today for their Teddy Bear Picnic, they got to meet their new teacher and have a look round the school and did some fun activities.
Year 4 Sleepover tonight
We wish the Year 4s from both schools ( and teachers) a lovely evening and hopefully a good night's sleep at the sleepover event tonight.
Change to Menu
Over the next few weeks there will be a change to the menu on Thursdays! Next week the option will be Beef Burger or Vegetarian Sausage in a Bun served with Wedges, Crunchy Vegetable Sticks and Tomato Sauce followed by Rocky Road Krispie Bar. This does not need to be pre-ordered, but can be ordered on the day.
