Woodpeckers - Friday 17th December

Date: 16th Dec 2021 @ 8:44pm

Good morning Woodpeckers

Today for your activities, I would like you to explore what Christmas is and how people spend their time during the festive period, by joining in with this lesson from the BBC.

It's Christmas! - Live Lesson - BBC Teach

You might like to do some of the activies suggested in the attached documents.

Festive Maths fun! - there are some jokes to solve using a range of addition, subtraction, multiplication calculations. You could then put these inside your Chrstmas cracker if you decide to make one.

Maybe you could listen to this story - An Angel Just Like Me by Mary Hoffman. You could then discuss what the important message from the story is and design or make an angel, just like you!

Perhaps you could even design a Christmas card to send to a neighbour which clearly shows the diversity withn our communities.

Most importantly, make sure you have fun and get yourself well prepared for your Chrstmas holidays! We will miss you in school today but look forwar to seeing you in 2022.
