Thursday 2nd April - Woodpeckers

Date: 2nd Apr 2020 @ 8:24am

Good morning Woodpeckers smiley

How are you all? It was lovely speaking to some of you and your parents. We really are missing you all and we are very proud of how hard you are working at home.

It is the final day of your home learning before the Easter holidays.

Today I would like you to try and complete:

  • 15 minutes of arithmetic and TTR
  • 30 minutes of reading comprehension and enjoy reading a book by yourself or as family
  • 20 minute Spelling Shed
  • Complete a literacy and numeracy activity
  • In the afternoon complete one of your topic activities or do some Easter activities. There are lots of great ideas online to make Easter bonnets, cards, crafts or scavenger hunts or find out about the Easter story and make an Easter garden. I have attached some activities for you and put some pictures below to get you started.

Maths Problem of the Day

I have attached a chocolate Easter themed maths problem of the day with the second problem your challenge.

You could post your response to me on the blog.

Throughout the day, make sure you get plenty of physical activity and fresh air, try to go outside and enjoy the spring weather.

Stay safe and have a lovely Easter with your families.

Mrs North smiley
