Foxes Visit year 6

Date: 4th Jul 2020 @ 11:46am

Hi again Year 6

As discussed on Friday, we have the Suffolk School Liason Officer from Suffolk Police      joining us on Friday to discuss some important areas before your transition to high school. They are very keen to have any questions you might have reagrding areas such as:

Criminal consequences and the age of criminal consequences

What is a good friend, what is a bad friend? (hints towards County lines/exploitation)

When you go out…. Anti-social behaviour. Keeping safe, who knows where you are, keeping your belongings safe when you’re out.

Are drugs illegal ?, school staff can search you and your bags

What if someone asks me to do something for them? (look after something, what could it be?)

Staying safe online – you are responsible for your actions, when do I lose control of a picture or post I share, excluding people and mean comments, who should I tell and what should I do

How can I get help for me or my friend?

This is a great opportunity to get a professional explanation to many questions that may come up once you start high school. No question is silly or unimportant and each will form the basis of a good discussion.

I will set up an additional discussion page and would like you all to come up with some questions that you may want answered or you think are just relelvant as you approach the next stage in your journey toward becoming a teenager and adult.

Please do have a think before Friday.
