Football Tournament

Bentley and Copdock joined forces once again to face 23 schools in the first tournament of the school year... football! Despite the Year 6 pupils being at EBHS for their Science day activities, eight of the Year 5 children proudly represented our schools in five matches througout the afternoon.

We played some tough teams but the children came out smiling with our final game of the day allowing us to finish on a win of 2-1 againt Causton. Much to the dismay of a couple of our players, we played Rendlesham Primary School who had many skilled footballers and celebrated an 8-1 victory, despite us giving them our best shot.We did, however, win a further game against Somersham!

Well done to all for a fantastic effort and strong resilience. Amelia also came away with the 'Fair Player' award for her contributions during the day.

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
