Copdock Weekly Update 19/05/17

Summertime: As the weather is now set to improve, please ensure your child has the relevant equipment - whether that be a sunhat and cream, or a raincoat!

Spelling Bee: Our successful spellers from a few weeks ago received their medals this week in assembly from Katie Puls of East Bergholt High School, to celebrate their achievements. Well done everyone, a fabulous effort.

Miss Young: This weekend Miss Young is getting married! She will return to school as Mrs North. We wish her and her husband the very best of luck and hope the sun comes out on their special day.

Snakes & Ladders: 10 hard-working pupils from across the Federation were rewarded this week with a trip to Snakes and Ladders in Ipswich. For more information and pictures head to the “News” section of the website.

Kittens Outing to Park: Next Thursday morning Kittens class are planning a trip to the local park (weather permitting) to celebrate their learning this term. Please ensure they have a water bottle with them along with a sunhat and cream if appropriate.

Post SATs Celebration: Following their HUGE efforts last week, Foxes and Badgers were rewarded with a trip to the park on Thursday.

Next Week: Don’t forget, next week Mrs Robinson will be teaching Foxes along with Bentley years 5 & 6 whilst Mrs Parnell is recuperating. We wish Mrs Parnell a speedy recovery and the children will be keeping up the good work to impress her upon her return.

Information: In trying to encourage independence the children may occasionally come home with messages that may not be complete or totally accurate. If you are unsure of an event which may involve your child, or the details of any visits etc, please check the website as a first port of call. We try to keep this up to date and notify any changes through it. The calendar is a good place to start, any letters sent home are also uploaded to the website and details are usually shared through the weekly newsletter. Next week’s events are also updated on the noticeboard near the gate. If you still require clarification please ask a member of staff or email the office.
