Bentley Weekly Update 29/09/17

Macmillan Coffee and Cake - Thank you to everybody who made it along to the Coffee and Cake fundraiser this afternoon. Sugar and caffeine was a potent combination! We will add up the money raised and let you know next week what the total is.

Found Items – A money holder and a DVD have been found in and around the school grounds this week. If you think one or other may belong to you, please do pop into the office.

African Adventure – There will be a blog for parents to view and comment on over the course of the residential visit to Sizewell Hall. If you do not know your login details, please get in touch with the school office.

Adders’ Homework – Just a brief reminder that Adders have homework to be handed in on Monday 9th October; there are two pieces, one reading, one maths.

Voice In A Million – We have had some reply slips back already for places on this amazing trip, if you would like your child to take part, please make sure your return slip is in by 6th October.

Sports Code of Conduct – All children in Key Stage 2 (Hedgehogs and Adders) will be coming home with a copy of the Code of Conduct for School Games in preparation for sporting events coming up over the year. They will also be put on the website in due course.

Phonics Workshop for Wolves’ Parents – A letter has been sent home about a phonics workshop being run by Mrs Robinson for parents of children in years R-2 on Wednesday 11th October, 2-3pm at Copdock Primary School. If you would like to attend, please do let us know by next Friday, 6th October. It gives parents a lot of useful information and guidance on how to support your child at home.

Tickets for PTA Race Night - we have already sold half of the tickets for race night! If you would like any please do contact us or find Aimee on the playground. They are just £2 each and selling out very quickly! If you can't make the race night but would still like to be involved we are also still selling horses for £5. If yours is the lucky winner you could win a £20 cash prize! It's always a very fun evening and all money raised goes towards educational resources for all children at the school. We look forward to seeing lots of you there!
