Bentley Prayer Space Day

On Tuesday 27th June Mrs Duff led a prayer space day in the woods looking at Psalm 139 and how God knows us all and loves us all. We started with an assembly about what we can do with our hands, in preparation to reflect on what God can do with his hands. The children worked in mixed age pairs to visit each station in the woods and take part in an activity linked to one of the parts of the Psalm. They particularly liked the bubbles where they learnt that bubbles are beautiful but only last a few seconds because God created them that way. They pulled up weeds that choke plants and considered what was choking them in their life and stopping them being the person they wanted to be.

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
